The intention of this blog is to share updates from our summer cross-country road-trip with our family and friends.
Our trip will start by paying homage to Horatio Nelson Jackson, the man who took the first successful road-trip across the United States in 1903. We're hoping for slightly less car maintenance on our trip and some better roads. We'll be taking a 2010 Toyata Prius which will hopefully hold up better than the "Vermont."
We will be departing from Charlotte, VT on June 16th with the intention of seeing, experiencing and EATING what the western USA has to offer.
